We are currently (as at 16 April 2018) recruiting for a newly created role, Operations Manager at Cooma Challenge Limited. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the CEO and Services Manager to drive strategic direction and improve operational, organisational and administrative systems to ensure our ongoing success in the disability and aged care sectors. The right person will have qualifications and / or experience in financial planning, management and reporting, assets and facilities management, ICT management, strategy, planning and reporting, and administration management.

Most positions at Cooma Challenge Limited are Casual and support hours and duties vary from week to week, depending on the needs of our service users. Hours cannot be guaranteed. Casual staff members are paid on an hourly basis under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award.

Support Workers

assist people with everyday tasks in their home and in the community, enabling them to maintain their independence and wellbeing and to lead full, engaged lives. The skills required and the duties vary with individuals' ages and levels of disability and the service they are using. Support Workers need to be physically able to undertake light housekeeping tasks and must have an absolute commitment to the rights of people's respect, privacy and confidentiality. There are four areas of support:

Team Leaders and Service Coordinators

manage the day to day administrative tasks involved with each service run by Cooma Challenge Limited including rostering, invoicing, enquiries, conducting initial assessments, reporting to management and providing leadership and support to their teams. For these positions you also need:

Administration Workers

support the day to day operations of Cooma Challenge Limited across all services. Duties include reception, payroll, assisting with reports, records management, organising meetings, book-keeping and other administrative tasks as needed. For these positions you need:
